Grapes in our Garden Tuesday, July 20th
Please check out today's post at The Days of Wine & Roses; it's the next poem in the A Few More Fold-Out Postcard Sonnets series.
Tony: These are a hardy variety of Concord grape--I believe the variety is called "Reliant." Our own winters are very unpredictable & variable, & can be quite harsh. But we've had them for several years & they seem to like it here.
They look grand grapes. the last time I saw grapes as delicious looking as these was in the gardens of Brodsworth Hall which, Tony Zimnoch please take note, is in Yorkshire.

We used to grow Concords on an arbor in our backyard in MD when I was a kid. We ate them straight, too. Mmmmmm! Thanks for the memories!
