A miscellany like Grandma’s attic in Taunton, MA or Mission Street's Thrift Town in San Francisco or a Council, ID yard sale in cloudy mid April or a celestial roadmap no one folded—you take your pick.
Glad to see someone else appreciates the beauty of the decline as well as that of the bloom. I have a vase on my table with a very similar bunch of roses in it and I can't say it's drawing favourable comments.
A rose is ever a rose, of course--there's always beauty there.I say enjoy your roses as long as you like!
