Rainbow in Indian Valley
Seen From Our Porch
Thursday, September 9th
Please check out today's post at The Days of Wine & Roses; it's a poem called "Here Comes Peter Cottontail."
Tomorrow on Alcools? My translation of Apollinaire's "L'Adieu" ("The Farewell.")
& tomorrow on Robert Frost's Banjo: read about the Carolina Chocolate Drops. See you soon!
the photo is gorgeous. I can't imagine what seeing it in real life must have been like!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend Betty, who always remarks when she sees a sight like this, "That would make a great puzzle!"
I'm sure she would have said that if she were witness to your rainbow.
Rene
wow....my socks are knocked off!!
ReplyDeleteHi Rene & Mouse
ReplyDeleteRene: Thanks so much--we get a lot of rainbows here--maybe it's a big sky country thing--but I never get tired of seeing them & photographing them!
Mouse: Thanks so much! It was actually a double rainbow, but the pix of the two together weren't as good as this one.
That's some view! I'm impressed, and given where I am right now, that's saying something!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great scene, and a great capture of it! Good work, John.
ReplyDeleteStunning!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Willow: & thanks!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful!
