Canada Geese on the Willamette River
Taken from the Vera Katz Eastbank Esplanade, Portland, Oregon
Saturday 5/12/12
[for the uninitiated: "Willamette" rhymes with "will LAM et," not with "willa MET"]
Great capture of the water doing one of its special tricks. Canada Geese are always a good add, tho' here they're optional compared to the river water itself.
Banjo52: I'd agree with your observation about the geese, but I like how they contrast with the water. It was doing an amazing thing in terms of catching the light!

The water has a paint-like quality. Kind of mesmerizing.
ReplyDeleteHi HKatz: I know--I really like that, but I have no idea how it happened that way! Thanks.
DeleteA beautiful study in contrast, John.
