A miscellany like Grandma’s attic in Taunton, MA or Mission Street's Thrift Town in San Francisco or a Council, ID yard sale in cloudy mid April or a celestial roadmap no one folded—you take your pick.

The promised post about Finnish accordionist Maria Kalaniemi will be up on Tuesday!
Dominic: Well, I keep expecting to see some bare ground here! Usually by the end of February there's a fair amount of bare ground where we live, tho not up around McCall where that picture was taken--that's just about exactly a mile high there. Will check out the accordion music, thanks!

I keep expecting it to turn white again here.
ReplyDeleteAs for Finnish accordionists, did you come across MA Numminen in the 365 Day Project?

Roy: Thanks so much!
The shadow cast by the fence looks like a path you could walk on. A lovely winter illusion.
ReplyDeleteHi HKatz: It does look that way, doesn't it? Glad you enjoyed the photo!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot, John.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tess!
ReplyDeleteOoh I almost missed one of your lonely, wonderful landscapes in the form of a photo of the week!
ReplyDeleteHi Caroline: So glad you liked it! Lonesome landscapes are my specialty, in photos & otherwise.
