For me it Is not dark but is deeply beautiful. and at the end, very funny.Mark Hamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03927507317842682340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4821243838031243709.post-86910489629711746882009-02-24T19:35:00.000-08:002009-02-24T19:35:00.000-08:00Hi Kat: Yes, I think it is nightmarish. One reason I gravitated toward music 12+ years ago & somewhat turned my back on poetry is that music seemed a "healthier" form of creation for me (that obviously might not be true for some). I've struggled a lot with the poetry question over the past year especially & still haven't come to terms with whether I can make it a part of my life again or not. But if I do, I do want it to be in a healthy way.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15687192784861682991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4821243838031243709.post-31089269273510663632009-02-24T18:58:00.000-08:002009-02-24T18:58:00.000-08:00This surely is a dark piece. Either that, or he is held captive by some addiction or other.
Mind you, I do like the form and the repetition. (It is really nightmarish though, isn't it?)

KatKat Mortensenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16877694888419628533noreply@blogger.com
